Since finding Taken In Hand last year our relationship has become much richer. I have the man that I have always wanted! There are times when we fall into old ways but we bounce back quicker. We aren't perfect but Taken In Hand has been worth its weight in gold and so is my husband.
Kat, my husband is exactly like that and definately worth his weight in gold! I, too, have the man I always wanted. I would add to your list a man who continues to grow spiritually and emotionally. My husband's spiritual growth has been one of the best results of our new relationship. Charlotte

Thank you Charlotte for bringing that up. Our spiritul life is very important to us. My husband has grown so much in his spiritual life that it has been something that I highly respect in him.
There are people that think that just because a man is a Christian that he rules his home with an Iron fist. That is not the case in our home. My husband is such a thoughtful man and a man of Integrity and compassion that he knows how to lead. There are times when he will take me in hand but there are many times when he leads in other ways.
My wife of twenty-one years approached me with starting a taken in hand relationship not so long ago. We have become newly weds again. Learning so many wonderful things about each other every since. I think our family is stronger, our love is deeper, and our thoughts are always on each other. I'm not sure you have to be truly 'wired' for this kind of relationship for it to work. Any couple willing to let only one person take the wheel and carry the responsibility could do this. Each one doing their part to make it work. The rewards are beyond our wildest dreams.
